Salute to Autism
The Salute to Autism will showcase the many talents of high school students who have ASD. Teens and young adults are invited to sing, play a musical instrument, dance, read an original poem or any other performance they would like.
Performance Dates:
April 30, 2010 8:30 - 9:00 am
May 1, 2010 8:30 - 9:15 am

New this year - My Salute to Autism
Calling all creative people! We want individuals with ASD to submit a video portraying your unique voice, giving viewers a flavor of life on the spectrum. Show and tell us, in a fun interactive way, how ASD has shaped your life.
Videos may be up to one minute in length and posted to our Facebook page by April 1, 2010. Or mail a CD to our office. Only one submission per person please. These clips will be compiled into a full-length video production that will kick-off each day of our 2010 Minnesota Autism Conference.
AuSM reserves the right to select and edit all submissions. Submission does not guarantee production or showing of a video.
Registration Policies
Registration deadline is 4/16/10. Registrations will not be accepted without payment or purchase order. Registration is $125/day after the deadline. Confirmations will be sent via email on 4/23/10.
Cancellations
All cancellations must be called into the AuSM Office by 4/21/10. No refunds will be given after this date. There is a $25.00 processing fee for all cancellations.
Volunteer Rate
To qualify for the volunteer rate, you must be a member of AuSM and attend a training session on 4/28/10 at 5:30 pm.
Saturday Workshops
Saturday sessions include a special focus for members of the ASD community. Reduced registration fees are offered for individuals with ASD only. Conference attendees who accompany an individual with ASD must pay and register at the full day session rate.
Handout Policy
In past years, AuSM has provided photocopies of each presenter’s handouts to each registered participant at the conference. Instead, we will post a PDF version of the handouts on AuSM’s website for the 30 days following the conference. This will allow registered participants to download any and all handouts they wish at no cost, including handouts for those sessions you did not attend.
Handouts will be available on Monday, May 3, 2010 and will be available for 30 days. You can download them at on this webpage.

AuSM is pleased to offer exhibitor space for the 2010 Minnesota Autism Conference. The conference is the perfect way to promote your organization and reach over 800 individuals! In addition to our exhibitor space, AuSM is excited to offer three opportunities to be a sponsor. Conference, Keynote and Lunch sponsorships provide higher visibility for your organization, allowing you to reach more people, more effectively. We also offer ads in our conference program. If you are unable to join us, you may display your organization's brochures or information on the community information table at no charge.
