What is AuSM?
Established in 1971, the Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is a self-funded organization committed to education, support and advocacy designed to enhance the lives of those affected by autism from birth through retirement.
AuSM members throughout the state of Minnesota and the upper Midwest include families, educators, caregivers, and professionals who support individuals with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Click here for membership information.
Mission
The Autism Society of Minnesota exists to enhance the lives of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. AuSM seeks to realize its mission through education support, collaboration, and advocacy.
Goals with a Purpose
- To inform and educate families, professionals, and the community about autism spectrum disorders and promising interventions that meet individual needs.
- To advocate for appropriate services and rights for people with ASD and their families.
- To support families and individuals through services and relationships.
