Programs and Services for Transition-Age Individuals

TransitionTransition is a confusing period of life, often presenting the struggle of looking back to the childhood years and looking forward to being an adult. An individual’s need for independence and specialized social skills becomes more acute during this time, and the focus on sexuality and relationship awareness shifts dramatically. During transition, safety concerns also change significantly. Often parents and individuals feel lost during this period of uncertainty; many wonder what will happen next. AuSM has programs and resources that have been developed by experts and parents who have successfully navigated this time of transition. We are here to help: You are AuSM and you are not alone.
