Skills Consulting

Social Skills

To best tailor a plan for individuals or to assist with situation-specific skills, there often is a need for one-to-one consulting. AuSM offers this opportunity for individuals, parents, siblings, educators, employers, and others touched by autism. Social skills consulting can help individuals apply what is learned in therapies, support groups or skills training groups to other social situations including school and work as well as at home.

AuSM also offers employment consulting for individuals who are struggling with the culture, the job, the co-worker or boss. We offer insights on what to do differently to improve the situation. AuSM consults with employers to provide an understanding of ASD and why the employee who has autism handles things differently than others. AuSM also teaches employers strategies can be used to improve the work environment and employee success.
