Steps of Hope raised a record $130,000 in donations on Sunday, February 24, 2208. AuSM thanks every sponsor, special guest, walker and donor that participated in the walk. We couldn't do this without you! Thank you!
The Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) is pleased to announce our 8th
annual Steps of Hope fundraising walk benefiting individuals and their families coping with autism. Steps of Hope will be held at Ridgedale
Shopping Center in Minnetonka , Minnesota on Sunday, February 24, 2008! Please join us as we take Steps of Hope!
AuSM will use proceeds from the Steps of Hope to continue our efforts in offering information and support to individuals, families and staff in a wide variety of ways. AuSM hosts an annual 3-day conference for parents, educators and service providers, offers educational programs including the Discovery Series for parents of children recently diagnosed with autism, and weekly workshops and support groups. Through our Steps of Hope Support Grant program, we invite Minnesota families, schools and service providers to request financial help to purchase goods and services they need as they work with individuals with autism.
It is so easy to participate in the Steps of Hope! Pull together a team of family, friends, neighbors and co-workers and join us as we weave our way through Ridgedale Center's upper level. Find sponsors to contribute for your efforts or donate yourself — and come out to support this great cause. The Autism Society of Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.
Visit the Sponsor Tables placed throughout Ridgedale Center and collect information about programs, products and services designed to support individuals with autism. At the tables, our sponsors are happy to chat with you and offer information about their products and services. |
