Intervention to Increase Parental Supports
DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW:
Have an intellectual, developmental, and/or severe physical disability?
Are a parent of at least one child (living with you) under the age of 18?
If so, you may be eligible to participate in a study
Researchers at the University of Minnesota – School of Social Work have developed an intervention to assist parents with disabilities increase and enhance their supports for parenting. We are seeking parents with disabilities who are interested in volunteering to test the effectiveness of the intervention.
Benefits of participating:
Receive a free intervention designed to increase and enhance supports for parenting. Two $25 Visa gift cards offered, one at completion of the initial intervention, and one after follow-up.
Disclosure and discussion of sensitive information, such as disability status, functional limitations, and parenting.
