2018SummerCatalogCvrIn partnership with area businesses and organizations, AuSM is pleased to offer monthly opportunities for families and individuals with autism to come together and enjoy fun activities in supportive, welcoming environments. Below is a listing of community events and other happenings. Some events require advance registration. We look forward to seeing you out and about in our great community!

Join us for Autism Awareness Night at Minnesota United FC's final home match of the season as they take on LA Galaxy! Tickets are $15 each. Select the Autism Society of Minnesota as your organization of choice at check out, and AuSM will receive $5 from each ticket you purchase. Click here to reserve your tickets. 

Tickets will sell out, so secure your spot today! When you purchase, you'll receive your own unique referral link to share with your friends and family. Anyone that purchases tickets off your link will automatically be seated with you. Adaptive Climbing Nights by Midwest Climbing Academy

Academy Adaptive Climbing aims to create an inclusive climbing community for athletes with physical or cognitive disabilities in the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. Our programs offer a space that is supportive and consistent to help participants achieve their personal climbing goals regardless of disability. We value accessibility of climbing, community and challenging perspectives of what is possible for someone with a disability. Monthly climbing nights begin on June 17, 2018. If you’re looking for a casual, fun and supportive environment to climb, these nights are for you! Cost: $20 per climber. Click here for more information and to register.

Monthly Birthday Celebration and Game Night for Adults with Autism

Birthdays are something we all have in common – let’s celebrate together! Bring a board or card game to play, an art project to share, or simply come for fun, stress-free conversation. AuSM will provide treats. Everyone is welcome, whether it’s your birthday or not!

Fall Autism Festival and Costume Party 2018

AuSM and the University of Minnesota's FIND Network are pleased to offer the 2018 Fall Autism Festival and Costume Party. This event will feature AuSM's Caregivers of Kids with Autism free support group from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. and a SPARK Research sign-up event from 9-10:30 a.m. and 12-1:30 p.m. Childcare will be provided during this October support group designed for parents and caregivers of school-age kids with autism age 4-21. Supervised games and activities will be available for children while parents and caregivers complete the SPARK study information. The event also will include prizes and treats. The event is free, but registration by Oct. 15 is encouraged. To register for a SPARK appointment, click here.
